Job Summary
The Engineering Technician Intern will support the Packaging Engineering team with analysis, repairs and projects in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on technology, product quality and safety, requiring a strong interest in learning and mechanical repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair process equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings and process sheets for testing and analysis
- Document assembly and design reviews for installations on manufacturing test equipment
- Support continuous improvement activities and maintain Health & Safety/GMP standards
- Travel between facilities for critical repairs as needed
Key Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
- Ability to read schematics and prints; basic understanding of mechanical systems
