Join us as a Engineering/Technical Student for our Regina district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months starting January 2026. Depending on your assigned project as a Engineering/Technical Student , you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
- Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
- Participation in project meetings
- Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs.
- Issues warranties
- Takes/coordinates progress photos
- Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
- Performance of quantity takeoffs
- Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
- Set-up and maintenance of records
- Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
- Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
- Monitoring of workforce productivity.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a post secondary insitution and either returning or graduating after the end of this work term
- Have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
- Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
