This position directly reports to the Engineering Tech Supervisor and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience .
Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 1-3 years of manufacturing experience is a plus.
Experience trouble shooting electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s, HMI’s, and Studio 5000 software
Ability to use standard test equipment
Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) is a plus
Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge, (Matlab and Excel) is a plus
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; bend; kneel; push, pull and/or lift up to 75+ pounds at any given time. Required to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
Manufacturing and industrial production environment.
Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, noise, vibration, heat, dust, and varying temperatures.
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety footwear.
