Role overview
The Engineering Supervisor supports hotel engineering and facilities operations at Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai.
The role maintains equipment and life-safety systems, responds to guest repairs, and supports employee supervision and operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, calibrate, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, equipment, controls, gauges, and meters.
- Order and stock parts and supplies and maintain inventory and purchase order logs.
- Complete fire-pump and generator run tests, inspect sprinkler valves and alarm systems, and assist with disaster response protocols.
- Respond to guest repair requests and enter work-related information using computers.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow safety, security, quality, and confidentiality policies and report hazards, accidents, injuries, and maintenance problems.
- Provide professional guest service, support individuals with disabilities, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Recommend and implement ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
- Perform physical activities including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, standing, walking, and using stairs or service ramps.
