Engineering Manager, Technical Support role in Dammam, 2nd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
Responsible for engineering activities supporting the design and development of pressure control products, solutions, and systems.
The role includes technical improvement of existing products and components, professional engineering delivery, and department budget responsibility.
Essential functions
- Provide customer-facing engineering solutions supporting customer operations.
- Manage Engineers and Designers delivering project engineering work for long-term agreements and separate orders.
- Manage engineering support for facility and service operations and operational performance indicators.
- Develop, monitor, and drive department KPIs and operational plans.
- Assess team competency and drive training and development plans.
- Customize projects to client needs and communicate technical information across functions.
- Directly supervise engineering team members and support their development.
- Oversee design, development, and implementation of engineering products and solutions.
- Set priorities, assign work, and monitor performance and project progress.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and professional development.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of oil and gas industry experience plus 5 additional years in design or project engineering management.
- At least 5 years in field or manufacturing operations at an international surface wellhead company.
- Familiarity with API 6A, API 16A, and NACE MR0175 standards.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in dynamic, cross-cultural, global environments.

Work environment and safety
