Position Overview
Engineering Manager role in the Engineering & Facilities department at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
The position is management level and scheduled full time.
The role is located at 1 West Bay Lagoon, Doha, Qatar.
Role Expectations
- Manage engineering and maintenance operations, including the building, grounds, and physical plant.
- Maintain safety, security, asset protection, budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation.
- Maintain regulatory requirements and assist in leading emergency response for facility issues.
Education and Experience
- Either a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant engineering and maintenance experience, or a 2-year related degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing.
Core Work Activities
- Manage equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with facility regulations and safety standards.
- Control heat, light, and power and recommend energy-conservation methods.
