Role overview
Lead multiple engineering teams for Global Payments Integrated across Ireland and the UK.
Support development of the Genius product and the Payment Gateway, including security and performance aspects.
Core responsibilities
- Set technical direction and engineering best practices across concurrent software projects.
- Lead, support, mentor, and develop engineers through one-to-ones, performance reviews, and career management.
- Coordinate product requirements, delivery planning, project execution, risks, dependencies, and team resources.
- Ensure timely, high-quality production releases and triage issues to identify root causes.
- Conduct interviews and technical auditions and oversee standups, workshops, deployments, and engineering initiatives.
- Improve testing automation, defect prevention, release quality, and production stability.
Qualifications
- BSc, MSc, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing concurrent software delivery activities.
- Knowledge of software lifecycle analysis, design, development, testing, security, and performance.
