Mable is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager for the Leap in! engineering group.
The role reports to the CTO and combines technical leadership, team leadership, and people leadership.
The Engineering Manager leads multiple squads across technical direction, architecture, delivery, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Help build a quality engineering organisation as part of the senior engineering leadership team.
- Support squad leaders with backlog management, architecture, and stakeholder management.
- Improve engineering practices across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and quality.
- Monitor squad delivery cadence and improve team efficiency.
- Promote modern practices including TDD, pair programming, and efficient branching strategies.
