Relay is hiring an Engineering Manager, Accounts, to help scale a digital banking product used by small businesses.
The Accounts team owns Relay’s multi-account structure and automated transfer rules, helping customers manage business cash flow.
The role combines engineering delivery, technical strategy, people management, and cross-functional leadership.
What you will do
- Lead planning and delivery of engineering initiatives while maintaining quality, timelines, and alignment with business goals.
- Establish and refine sprint planning, code reviews, technical design reviews, and other engineering processes.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute technical strategy.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to solve complex problems and deliver customer impact.
- Hire, onboard, coach, and manage the performance and development of engineering team members.
- Foster feedback, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional growth.
Who you are
- Bring 5+ years of full-stack software development experience and 1–3 years of people management experience.
- Have a strong technical foundation and a record of shipping high-quality products.
