Role Overview
Engineering Lead responsible for electrical engineering activities related to power supply on an onshore project.
The role oversees technical quality, contractor execution, design planning, project interfaces, and electrical system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical engineering activities and ensure specifications, data sheets, designs, and deliverables meet project requirements.
- Ensure work complies with LNG operations requirements, company policies, standards of business conduct, and the project management system.
- Lead electrical design and planning activities and guide contractors in developing detailed designs.
- Resolve discipline issues, escalate risks, and coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and external stakeholders.
- Review electrical simulations, optimization, equipment purchase orders, technical deliverables, plans, and schedules.
- Develop and update electrical philosophies, specifications, and procedures.
- Monitor contractor progress and milestones and recommend additional technical support where required.
- Support commissioning, start-up, system completion, and electrical interfaces with offshore, onshore, RLIC, Kahramaa, and other parties.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
