The role is part of the Engineering Enabling Systems team within the Software Engineering department.

Role Overview

The Business Solutions Analyst translates business and operations needs into effective and sustainable IM/IT engineering solutions.

The role acts as a channel between internal and external clients and the Engineering Enabling Systems department.

Job Details

  • The job locations are Mirabel, Quebec, or Enfield, Nova Scotia.
  • The schedule is day shift.

Compensation

  • Compensation is between $70,000 and $120,000 CDN annually.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze client IM/IT requirements and lead workshops to capture and document needs.
  • Map processes and rules, propose target processes, and support solution implementations through completion.
  • Conduct testing and validate solutions against customer requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project bid teams and derive engineering IM/IT requirements from bid documentation.
  • Create CONOPS, use cases, BPMN, and system models.
  • Analyze impacts of new requests on existing solutions and business processes.
  • Recommend improvements to IM/IT system and interface performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Manage operational requirements for the ENOVIA 3DExperience PLM tool.
  • Perform trade studies and participate in organizational change management activities.

Qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred, with Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science listed as preferred fields.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of prior relevant experience is required.
  • Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements is required.
  • Experience across implementation project phases, including requirements, specifications, testing, training, and go-live, is required.
  • Knowledge of PLM, ERP, and MMS enterprise systems and experience with IM/IT implementations are required.
  • Knowledge of aerospace engineering IM/IT, authoring software, digital transformation, change management, and project management is required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Visio and Project, is required.
  • English is the primary language; French bilingualism is an asset.

Tools and Systems

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with ENOVIA 3DExperience PLM, SAP, and RAMCO Enterprise systems is an asset.
  • Aerospace authoring software listed includes CATIA, Patran/Nastran, Solidworks, Draftsight, Hypermesh, Hyperwork, and Metlab.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations requirements.
