Engineering CAD Technologist

Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance drafting quality, efficiency, and overall team performance.

Stay current with new drafting software features, tools, and industry practices through ongoing learning and training.

Develop project management skills, including work planning, progress tracking, and priority management, with guidance from senior employees and supervisors.

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.

Coursework or internship experience related to bridges, structural steel, or infrastructure projects is an asset.

Experience or coursework in geometric design, steel detailing, or structural drafting is preferred.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.

Interest in developing project coordination and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
