- Direct feasibility studies, options appraisals, and concept designs for complex water projects
- Perform advanced engineering analysis and modeling of integrated water systems using industry standard software
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated water solutions aligned with urban development objectives
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, calculations, and construction drawings
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and risk management for large scale programs
- Engage strategically with clients, water utilities, and government agencies
- Champion emerging water technologies and sustainable management practices
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and implement corrective actions
- Mentor junior and mid level engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in water engineering and large scale urban development projects
- Proven track record of designing water systems for large scale urban master plan projects including high rise and mixed use developments
- Advanced proficiency in engineering design software and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, HEC RAS, EPANET)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification, or active progress toward obtaining one
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comprehensive knowledge of water quality standards, environmental regulations, and industry codes
- Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM) (preferred)
- Experience working on water projects in the Middle East or similar arid/semi arid regions (preferred)
- Valid UAE driving license is a must

Job Description Overview

- Demonstrated expertise in sustainable water management practices and water conservation technologies.
- Advanced project management experience or relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2).
- Proficiency with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and integrated project delivery approaches.
- Knowledge of flood mitigation, stormwater management, water reuse systems, and resilience planning.
- Experience collaborating with water utilities, government agencies, and urban planning authorities.
- Track record of mentoring junior engineers.
