Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Follow document control and quality assurance processes for project drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Compile design specifications and check compliance with project briefs using calculations and manufacturer literature.
• Carry out detailed design, complex calculations, coordination, technical review, and project leader sign-off.
• Undertake technical calculations to industry standards with team members.
• Supervise delegated team work and report issues, risks, and client changes to the project leader.
• Prepare elemental work for project budget costing.
• Respond to project queries and provide information needed for construction activity.
• Contribute to technical and construction issue resolution and support trainee development.
• Select computer-aided design software, construct models, and perform analysis and manual checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Working toward membership of an accredited engineering body.
• At least four years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with ETABS and SAFE software.
