Position Summary
Engineer III, Mechanical role supporting new product development, sustaining engineering, and lifecycle management for laboratory equipment.
The role is a key individual contributor owning mechanical subsystems and executing design changes for product performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
Mechanical Design and Development
- Design, develop, and support mechanical components and assemblies, including mechanisms, enclosures, and structural elements.
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to sheet metal, plastic part, and electromechanical design.
- Own subsystems or modules through design, CAD modeling, detailing, and documentation.
- Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design optimization.
- Manage PLM documentation and ECO/ECR change processes.
- Support prototyping, testing, and design verification.
