API development

  • Build APIs for data access, metadata retrieval, dataset previews, and export workflows.
  • Implement pagination, filtering, advanced query parameters, entitlement-aware access controls, caching, throttling, and performance enhancements.
  • Create SDK-style examples, reusable integration templates, and client libraries.

Data quality and observability

  • Perform deep data validation for new or enhanced datasets.
  • Integrate schema checks, monitoring workflows, and drift detection.
  • Investigate anomalies and consumer-reported issues and implement long-term improvements.

Required qualifications

  • Practical Angular experience with services, components, RxJS, and modules.
  • Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
  • Ability to interpret and optimize pipelines using Spark, Glue, Python, and dbt.
  • Understanding of medallion architecture, data modeling, data lineage, metadata, and data quality practices.
  • Strong SQL skills using Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or a similar platform.
  • Familiarity with Iceberg and proficiency with Git/GitHub workflows.

Preferred qualifications

  • Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, or PostgreSQL database knowledge is preferred.
