Role Overview
The purpose of this position is to plan and direct activities concerning quality improvement, quality systems development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for fuel injector manufacturing processes, materials, and products.
Complete root cause analysis of internal production rejects and customer trouble reports.
To ensure all Quality investigations are thorough and complete, with true root cause analysis, and assure all major and minor change points are controlled and completed in customers’ best interests.
This position would be fully on-site to best support the manufacturing processes at our Greenfield plant.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities / % of Time Spent performing Duties
• Support Production with Process Efficiency that includes COPQ.: 20%
• Support Customer Requests and Concerns: 20%
• New Product and Line Startup Documentation Creation: 10%
• Trouble Shooting and C/M Implementation: 15%
• Audit Processes and Documentation: 15%
• Prepare Presentation to all Levels of Management: 5%
• Prepare Data Documentation of IPPAARs and M/P Change Points: 5%
• Travel to Customers, Vendors and Mother Companies: 5%
• Confirm Product Characteristics and Measurement Techniques Data: 5%
• Other Duties as Assigned: As needed
• Support Production in Emergency Situations (equipment downtime): As needed
• Brainstorm for alternative Quality Verifications: As needed
