Role Overview
Provide installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer support for precision air conditioning and associated cooling systems.
Support equipment uptime and SLA commitments at data centers, telecom sites, IT facilities, healthcare facilities, and commercial establishments.
Installation and Commissioning
- Install, test, and commission PAC units and associated cooling systems.
- Verify site readiness, engineering drawing compliance, and safety requirements.
- Conduct performance testing and prepare commissioning reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, customers, and subcontractors.
Preventive Maintenance
- Maintain PAC, CRAC/CRAH, chiller, condenser, CDU, FWU, and related systems.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, control panels, sensors, and refrigerant circuits.
- Submit maintenance reports and recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
Breakdown and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control system faults.
- Analyze alarms and abnormalities using controller logs and monitoring systems.
- Close breakdown calls within SLA commitments and support emergency site requirements.
Customer and Inventory Support
- Provide technical guidance and professional communication during service visits.
- Prepare service reports and obtain customer sign-off.
- Recommend replacement parts, maintain service inventory and tools, and support repair quotations.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow EHS guidelines and use required PPE during service activities.
- Comply with customer safety regulations and permit systems.
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of HVAC, precision cooling, or critical cooling systems experience.
- Experience in data centers, telecom infrastructure, IT facilities, healthcare facilities, or commercial buildings is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Understand refrigeration cycles and HVAC principles.
- Work with PAC, CRAC/CRAH, chilled water, DX cooling, condenser, CDU, and FWU systems.
- Troubleshoot compressors, valves, refrigerant circuits, controllers, panels, drives, sensors, and communication networks.
- Handle refrigerants safely and use BMS and remote monitoring systems.
