Engineer Fixed & Transport Monitoring

Overview

• To provide shift-based first level support on 24/7 basis for AI based alarm handling of fixed transport network iPoP/IPSDP/TSO/FNL/BNG/CSG/OLT/IIB/CC/NNI/TRX/NTRX/VSS/FTTA/FAN etc. along with handling incident in du Service Operation Center (SoC).
• Support SoC Management to bring AI based network automation in the incident management operations/processes/services for efficiency enhancements by planning and implement various internal AI and network automation use cases/initiatives.
• AI based incident/CR handling & intelligent alarm handling for fixed Transport network on 24/7 basis in shifts.
• To monitor all major/critical fault alarms, timely escalation using AI to Management/SLO & improve TT SLAs.
• Automatic info sharing using AI Agents for alarms/incidents to management, also approve changes.
• Automate and execute various SoC internal initiatives to enable artificial intelligence in operations.
• Perform AI/ML/python-based health-checks for the network by implementing automation scripts dashboards.
• Bring smart AI based alarm visualization display by using Grafana Dashboard using API calls.
• Maximize the use of AI/automation in existing tools and adopt newly enabled Dashboards/monitoring tools.
• Fully support disaster recovery and business continuity activities of fixed Transport network.
• Knowledge and skills about artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science plus faults/alarms about Routing/switching hardware from Nokia, cisco, Huawei transport IP networks. International PoPs, fixed 100G transport network, IP Service delivery and transport security operation networks. Carrier grade inter-connects and gigabit passive optical networks. Transport aggregation routing, call centre connectivity, international/national transit networks. Fiber to the air, campus and access networks.
