Role Overview
Transform customer needs into actionable AV system solutions through design and detailed documentation.
Work with sales, clients, vendors, architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams to support feasible project execution.
Pre-Sales Design
- Translate customer requirements into functional system designs with Account Managers.
- Explain design concepts to clients and demonstrate how proposed systems meet their needs.
- Provide labor estimates and material requirements for sales proposals.
- Develop and maintain design standards packages for large and repeat customer accounts.
Design Responsibilities
- Create bills of materials, conceptual block diagrams, infrastructure plans, and scopes of work.
- Determine power, data, conduit, and other infrastructure requirements during pre-sales efforts.
- Assess project risks, site conditions, schedules, and dependencies.
- Review pre-construction documentation and coordinate designs with project stakeholders.
Project Support
- Support project teams during implementation and provide technical input as the design authority.
