Role overview

Lead financial data science projects that improve financial performance and manage risk through advanced analytics and machine learning.

Oversee a team of data scientists and deliver analytics solutions aligned with business objectives.

Success is measured by delivering actionable analytics that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement predictive models for residual value, credit scoring, delinquency prediction, and collections optimization.
  • Deliver at least two successful predictive modeling use cases.
  • Create financial KPI metrics and risk dashboards using statistical techniques and visualization libraries.
  • Develop and maintain three comprehensive finance-related dashboards.
  • Generate financial insights using time series decomposition, anomaly detection, and stress testing.
  • Produce three actionable financial insights each month.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in ARIMA and LSTM networks for predictive analytics.
  • Expertise in gradient boosting, ensemble methods, and neural networks.
  • Strong statistical and data visualization skills for financial analysis and modeling.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Financial Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least five years of data science and analytics experience focused on finance.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Databricks.
  • Experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ARIMA, SARIMA, and Prophet.
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps and Git.
  • Experience with Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly.
