Engineering Program

Johnson Controls is offering an Emirati Engineering Program in the United Arab Emirates and across the Middle East and Africa.

The program includes six assignments over two years across installation and service operations and technical sales.

The initiative is designed to develop participants toward future leadership opportunities.

Program Activities

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Install and calibrate equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Communicate technical solutions to customers.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Present complex concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Analyze client needs, industry trends, pricing models, and competitors.
  • Develop tailored customer solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Engineering and Technical Sales Skills

  • Installation and service operations.
  • Technical sales across pre-sales, inside sales, and front-line sales.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Sales strategy and market analysis.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, aerospace, mechatronics, sustainability engineering, or a related field.
  • Passion for pursuing an engineering-based career.
  • Adaptability when working with a diverse team.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous related internship experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
