About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist or Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing high-quality emergency medical care, rapid assessment and stabilization of critically ill patients, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies
- Perform rapid triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and emergency interventions
- Manage adult and pediatric emergency cases in accordance with evidence based clinical guidelines
- Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, central venous access, chest tube insertion, procedural sedation, and advanced cardiac life support
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and referrals to appropriate specialties
- Lead and participate in trauma and cardiac arrest response teams
- Interpret diagnostic investigations, including ECGs, laboratory results, and imaging studies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, and continuing medical education (CME)
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols
- Participate in rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on call duties as required
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- MD, DNB, Arab Board, MRCP, MRCEM, FCEM, FRCEM, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine
- Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility
- Minimum 3 5 years of post specialization experience in a busy Emergency Department
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (preferred)
- Strong clinical decision making, leadership, and crisis management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure emergency environment
