- Deliver basic care and support Paramedics in emergency pre hospital patient care
- Provide assistance to the ill and injured before and during ambulance transfers
- Communicate necessary information to receiving facilities
- Maintain operational readiness of ambulance units, medical equipment, and other tools
Requirements
- Internationally recognized certificate in Emergency Medical Services/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- One year work experience post registration/certification
- Valid UAE license to practice, preferred
- Valid BLS, PHTLS or ITLS certification, preferred
- Valid UAE driving license, preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate via telephone and radio equipment
- Ability to interpret written, oral and diagnostic instructions
- Ability to interview patients, family members, and bystanders
- Ability to think critically, use sound judgment, and remain calm in stressful situations
- Should not be affected by loud noises and flashing lights
- Ability to function efficiently throughout an entire work shift without interruption
