Role Overview

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug C/C++ firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
• Interface microcontrollers with sensors, ADCs, DACs, memories, and peripherals.
• Use UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, and GPIO communication protocols.
• Work with interrupts, timers, PWM, ADCs, DMA, and basic real-time concepts.
• Read schematics, datasheets, application notes, and technical documentation.
• Support hardware bring-up, firmware initialization, peripheral configuration, and board testing.
• Debug firmware and hardware using debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab equipment.
• Develop device drivers, hardware abstraction layers, diagnostics, and test firmware.
• Perform firmware testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
• Maintain source code, test procedures, documentation, and development records.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, PCB layout, systems, and test teams.
• Support embedded-system integration, prototype development, and field or production testing.
