In This Role
Design and develop real-time embedded software for next-generation controller products.
Work across the software lifecycle from product definition through production release.
Collaborate with global Scrum teams and multifunctional software, hardware, system test, and product management teams.
Responsibilities
- Use Agile development and continuous integration to build and test products.
- Break down problems and estimate development tasks.
- Develop domain expertise across industrial control system platforms.
- Support team members through pair programming and code reviews.
- Drive product quality in development and product support.
Required Experience
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree is required.
- The role requires 8–15 years of embedded software or firmware development experience on Intel x86 and ARM-based processors or controllers.
- Experience with embedded software in industrial automation and control systems is preferred within the experience description.
- Strong C and C++ skills and experience with reliable, safety-critical embedded software are required.
- Experience with BSPs, device drivers, middleware, application firmware, VxWorks, and Embedded Linux is required.
