System Design and Engineering
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Design BMS solutions for fire protection needs based on building size, occupancy, fire risks, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications for BMS components and integrations.
Installation and Integration
- Oversee installation, configuration, and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
- Coordinate with installation teams and subcontractors to follow design specifications and industry standards.
- Integrate BMS with fire alarm panels, HVAC, access control, and emergency lighting systems.
Testing and Troubleshooting
- Test and validate BMS performance, alarms, alerts, and fault detection.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, system malfunctions, and integration challenges.
- Work with project teams on corrective actions to ensure successful system operation.
Documentation and Training
- Prepare as-built drawings, system manuals, and user guides.
- Train end users, facility managers, and maintenance personnel on BMS operation, maintenance, and emergency procedures.
Compliance and Standards
- Stay current on standards, codes, and regulations for fire protection systems, building automation, and BMS technology.
