Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an ELV Commission Engineer based in Doha, Qatar.

The ELV Commission Engineer will be responsible for the commissioning and configuration of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems including security, networking, and telecom systems.

Key tasks include system testing, troubleshooting, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with client specifications.

The engineer will also coordinate with project teams, oversee onsite installations, and provide technical support during project execution phases.

Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in commissioning and configuring ELV systems such as security systems, networking systems, and telecom equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills for ELV systems, with the ability to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports, system documentation, and project-related records.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work alongside project teams and contractors.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in executing ELV projects; knowledge of international standards and best practices is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet project deadlines, and adapt to dynamic work environments.
  • Valid Qatar driving license is a plus, along with familiarity with local regulations and standards.
