Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, for an ELV Commissioning Engineer.
The role requires managing the commissioning and testing of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and client requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues, collaborating with project teams, preparing technical reports, and conducting system handovers to clients.
The engineer will also assist in system integration, testing, and documentation updates to ensure optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Experience with ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Public Address (PA) Systems, and Structured Cabling Systems
- Proficiency in system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
- Skills in project coordination and client collaboration to identify and meet system and design requirements
- Understanding of technical documentation and the ability to create system handover reports
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities for handling on-site challenges
- Flexibility to work in an on-site environment in Doha, Qatar
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred
- Professional ELV certifications (such as CCNA, BICSI) are advantageous
