Electronics Technician

As Neupulse prepares to bring its wearable neurostimulation device to more people, we’re looking for an Electronics Technician to provide the practical support that keeps our development work moving.

You’ll suit this role if you enjoy working at the bench and take pride in doing things properly.

Whether you’re assembling a prototype, preparing test equipment, investigating a returned device or keeping the lab organised, your attention to detail will help us build technology people can depend on.

• Keep our electronics laboratory safe, organised and ready to use - maintaining equipment, tools, components and workspaces
• Carry out routine equipment checks, preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting, including supporting calibration and PAT testing activities
• Build and rework prototype electronics for verification and validation, including soldering, PCB rework, wiring and assembly
• Prepare test setups, fixtures and jigs, and carry out defined engineering tests using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies and electronic loads
• Disassemble, inspect and test returned devices, recording what you find and helping engineers investigate faults and identify root causes
• Maintain accurate, traceable records covering equipment, calibration, maintenance, test results and technical observations
• Work in line with our quality management system and the requirements that come with developing and manufacturing a medical device

You’ll likely bring

• An HNC, HND, technical diploma, apprenticeship or equivalent practical qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, engineering technology or a related field
• Hands-on electronics skills, including soldering, PCB rework, wiring, assembly and inspection
• Confidence using standard electronics laboratory equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes and bench power supplies
• Experience preparing test setups, fixtures, jigs or prototype assemblies in an electronics development or engineering environment
