Electronics Engineer - Space Systems

Primary duties

• Responsible for the design, integration, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems supporting space telescopes and laser technologies, ensuring reliable operation through system verification, multidisciplinary collaboration, and effective technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic and electro-mechanical systems for space telescope and laser applications
• Manage system integration, verification, and validation of precision space and observatory systems
• Support the full project lifecycle from concept development through to deployment and operational maintenance
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, optical, and systems engineering teams
• Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis of complex electronic and laser-based systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and engineering records
• Support laboratory and observatory-based testing, including performance validation and data analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, standards, and system reliability
