About the Role
Raytheon Technologies seeks an experienced Electronic Equipment Calibrations Technician to provide calibration and repair for electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment. Responsibilities
- Provide calibration and repair capability for electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment covered under approved TAA
- Train laboratory and site personnel on new equipment as required
- Calibrate and/or repair all electronic test measurement and diagnostic equipment supported by the calibration laboratory
- Develop new procedures and methods for performing calibration on new equipment using available standards
- Perform precision calibration of state of the art electronic equipment
- Develop test jigs, fixtures, and special test setups for calibration of new or special purpose equipment
- Provide on the job training for technicians in electronic theory and application of standards
- Make site visits for training, evaluation, and technical assistance as needed
- Assist section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave
- Minimum 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Proficient in using computers and software applications related to calibration work

Job Overview

Qualifications You Must Have
- Must have a strong background in digital electronics and RF/Microwave.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in calibration of electronic equipment.
- Must have a deep understanding of principles and concepts related to measurement, calibration, and instrumentation.
- Must be meticulous in work, follow established procedures, document work, and ensure accurate measurements.
- Must be proficient in using computers and various software applications related to work.
