Role Overview
Schaeffler is seeking an Electronic Architecture Engineer for its R&D team.
The role drives end-to-end electronic system development from concept to production for automotive and industrial applications.
The position focuses on high-voltage electrical design, power electronics product engineering, and project team leadership.
Project Responsibilities
- Lead power electronics application design projects for onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, and related AC input, PFC, DC link, and high-voltage conversion subsystems.
- Prepare project schedules aligned with customer and internal milestones and plan staffing for technical resources.
- Coordinate with purchasing, quality, sample shop, operations, suppliers, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize onboard charger, low-voltage DC-DC, and power electronics products.
- Manage project-level relationships with customers and system stakeholders.
Technical and Quality Coordination
- Communicate with project teams, customers, steering committees, and other disciplines.
- Act as the key technical contact for purchasing, operations, suppliers, customers, and quality topics.
