• Design and develop electrical power distribution, controls, and machine safety systems • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing automated assembly lines • Develop and update electrical schematics for automation projects • Select and size electrical components for machine applications • Design machine safety circuits and safety diagrams • Develop panel layouts and machine electrical layouts • Design pneumatic and hydraulic circuits for automated equipment • Create and document electrical automation systems and standards • Work with suppliers to specify appropriate electrical and controls components • Develop, modify, and maintain electrical build standards • Support machine build, installation, and commissioning activities • Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems • Partner with Controls Technicians during the setup and development of PLC, robotic, and vision systems • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reliability, and safety • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards
