Electrical Wirer - 1st Shift

Milacron is looking for an Electrical Wirer to join our team in Batavia, OH .

In this position, you will be responsible for building and wiring panels for machines, equipment and their subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits, and other written and verbal specifications.

• Read, comprehend, and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example.
• Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc.
• Recognize problems during assembly, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
• Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads.
• Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout.
• Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
• Recommend improvements for work area, products, and processes.
• Perform prototype work with limited Engineering and minimal supervision.

• High School diploma or equivalent knowledge (basic math, reading, and writing)
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
• 3+ years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic computer skills
