As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems across our high-speed pulp and paper manufacturing plant.
Shift Details: Day shift (Monday to Friday)
Pay Details: $60ph + OT
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and plant assets.
Diagnose and rectify faults on motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
Perform routine inspections and condition monitoring of plant equipment.
Support continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance.
Participate in breakdown response and after-hours call-out activities as required.
Be available for standby/on-call duties on a 1-in-4-week roster.
A Grade Electrical Licence
Experience within a manufacturing, pulp and paper, FMCG, packaging, recycling, or heavy industrial environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working with PLCs, VSDs, motor control centres (MCCs), and industrial automation systems.
Sustainability: Contribute to sustainability initiatives that make a difference.
