About the Role
A client of Universal Staffing Services in Qatar is looking for an Electrical Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in plants and buildings.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (breakdown & emergency) and rectification to all electrical systems and equipment inside plants and buildings
- Troubleshoot, check and maintain existing power systems and electrical installations for all kinds of equipment
- Troubleshoot, maintain and diagnose electrical equipment including SWGR, MCC, VFD, motors, ATS, electrical parts of YK Chillers, and electrical distribution panels
- Execute and install cable pulling, wiring terminations, cable trunking, cable ducts, panel boards, electrical distribution panels, manual stations, and other electrical systems
- Test and troubleshoot electrical connections, equipment, and controls after completing preventive maintenance jobs
- Provide technical solutions and maintenance for all electrical systems within QC buildings
- Troubleshoot, maintain and diagnose motorized valves, HVAC systems, generating sets, synchronization panels, fire fighting systems, motors lighting, ELCB systems, gantry & overhead cranes
- Generate technical layouts and technical reports
- Understand and implement the basis of Computer Maintenance Management Systems
- Perform thermographic analysis for electrical equipment
- Provide assistance and guidance to other technical teams whenever required
- Comply with ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements in applicable job areas/functions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 7 years of experience in electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems including SWGR, MCC, VFD, motors, and distribution panels
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance
- Familiarity with CMMS

Job Overview
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (breakdown & emergency), and rectification to all electrical systems and equipment inside the plants, buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, check and maintain the existing power systems and electrical installations for all kinds of equipment and provide the complete installation of new systems, whenever required.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and diagnose (electrical equipment but not limited to) SWGR, MCC, VFD, MOTORS, ATS, Electrical Parts of the YK Chillers and the Electrical Distribution Panels.
- Execute and install the Cable Pulling, Wiring terminations, Cable Trunking, Cable Ducts, Panel Boards, Electrical Distribution Panels, Manual Station and other Electrical System.
- Test and troubleshoot the Electrical Connections, the Electrical Equipment and their Controls after completing the preventive maintenance jobs.
- Provide technical solutions and maintenance for all electrical system installed within QC Buildings.
