Electrical Shift Engineer – Facilities Operations

Operate and maintain Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) systems.

Monitor SF6 gas parameters, GIS breakers, disconnectors, and protection systems.

Perform routine inspections and condition monitoring of GIS equipment.

Support preventive and corrective maintenance of substations and switchgear.

Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure rapid restoration of systems.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.

Support reliability improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Person should have proficiency in using Gen AI Tools, Copilot, Copilot library & Agent bots.

Support facility systems including:

HVAC Plants

Chillers

Air Compressors

Water & Wastewater Systems

Gas Systems

Cleanroom Utilities

Building Infrastructure

Implement Electrical Safety, LOTO, PTW, Arc Flash, and EHS procedures.

Participate in emergency response activities.

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Support internal and external audits.

Maintain shift logbooks and maintenance records.

Record alarms, incidents, breakdowns, and corrective actions.

Update CMMS/SAP maintenance systems.

Prepare operational and reliability reports.

Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering

5–10 years of experience in:
