Electrical Maintenance & Utility Manager

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete electrical maintenance activities of the plant, including HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, APFC panels and power distribution systems.
• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of motors, VFDs, control panels, DG sets, compressors, pumps and other electrical equipment .
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution, electrical protection systems, earthing and lightning protection systems .
• Manage DG sets, solar power systems and other utility-related electrical systems .
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Identify electrical energy-saving opportunities and implement energy conservation and efficiency improvement projects .
• Lead electrical breakdown analysis, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Manage electrical projects, equipment installation, commissioning and modification activities .
• Prepare technical specifications, evaluate quotations and coordinate with vendors for procurement of electrical equipment and spares .
• Maintain adequate inventory of critical electrical spares and consumables.
