Overview
- Supervise and execute all electrical installation activities at the power plant site.
- Manage installation of cable trays, trunking, conduits, power/control cabling, and cable supports.
- Ensure proper cable laying, glanding, termination, ferruling, and tagging activities as per approved drawings and standards.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning of instrumentation devices, field instruments, panels, junction boxes, and related systems.
- Review electrical drawings, single line diagrams, layouts, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams before execution.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and pre-commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, material requests, and site documentation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety compliance, and permit-to-work procedures at site.
- Support FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and closing punch list items.
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable international standards and client requirements.
