Electrical Estimator

Title: Electrical Estimator Location: De Soto, Kansas Division: Enerfab Power & Industrial Direct Report: Estimating Manager Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 per year Company Summary: Enerfab has over 120 years of experience, offering fabrication and construction capabilities to a wide variety of customers for the chemical, food & beverage, oil & gas, heavy industrial and power industries. The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for direct-hire industrial construction projects, with a primary focus on electrical scopes of work. This individual should understand Enerfab's competitive advantages and effectively communicate those strengths throughout the estimating and bidding process.

• Project estimating coordination with all scopes when leading an estimate
• Write Supplier and Subcontractor Request for pricing
• Lead electrical estimates and assign tasks
• Customer interaction
• Develop and write a construction execution plan as well as associated indirect costs
• Develop manpower loading chart
• Site visits and job preconstruction meeting attendance if needed
• Attend weekly estimating meetings
• Attend and conduct internal review meetings
• Attend and conduct executive review meetings
• Attend and conduct project turn over meetings with operations.

• Minimum 5 - 10 years of estimating experience in construction with experience with industrial electrical systems
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or journeyman electrician credentials.
