About the Role

Responsibilities
- Advise and support electrical engineering activities during start up phase until handover to permanent asset
- Provide electrical engineering support including design reviews, commissioning, start up, failure analysis, and advanced troubleshooting
- Develop and implement surveillance and administration programs for critical electrical systems of new projects
- Define and document best practices and recommend performance improvement initiatives
- Develop plans and work schedules to ensure effective completion of tasks and activities
- Provide technical input to other disciplines and functions as per requirements
- Control and supervise electrical engineering activities undertaken by contractors, consultants, and service providers
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing company integrity and reliability systems
- Support and facilitate smooth completion of project tie in requirements
- Maintain Issue Register identifying and resolving critical issues including new technology risks
- Support high risk commissioning activities for high complexities & large scale projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8 years' experience in an oil and gas environment
- Attained specialist level of competencies as per electrical technical competencies
- Able to work and make decisions under highly stressing conditions
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong leadership & people skills
- Computer literacy involving regular use of professional office and technical applications
