Electrical Engineering Manager

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario. (Registered in other provinces is an asset).

Ability to obtain CAPM/PMP designation.

Minimum 15 years’ experience in building systems engineering, preferably for educational, health care, offices, municipal infrastructure, and commercial facilities, working with relevant codes including, OBC, NBC, CEC/OESC, ASHRAE 90.1, relevant CSA Standards (C282, Z32, Z317.5, B44, etc.), ULC-S524 and S537.

Proficient with AUTOCAD. (REVIT and Micro-station experience is an asset). MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of electrical design, project management, budget management, and resource allocation. Experience supervising, mentoring, and motivating a team of engineers and designers.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary for managing teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders. (i.e. understanding client objectives, anticipating and meeting client needs, and growing the business).

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $120,000 - $160,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
