Job Summary

Project Engineering

• Develop, execute, supervise, test, commission, and coordinate technical aspects of construction projects.
• Maintain first-level quality assurance for installation work against approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Supervise construction engineering work and provide technical expertise across assigned disciplines when required.
• Resolve technical engineering problems and coordinate application of solutions.

Testing and Commissioning

• Coordinate testing and commissioning of HV, MV, LV, and ELV systems.
• Ensure tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented according to approved procedures.
• Review testing and commissioning procedures, test reports, and related documentation.
• Compile testing and commissioning documentation for final project turnover.

Coordination and Controls

• Coordinate with construction management to address hazards and ensure safe work practices.
• Liaise with discipline design engineering staff and review current drawings and specifications.
• Develop discipline construction schedules and monitor progress.
• Provide schedule and progress appraisal reports to the Construction Manager.
• Monitor material procurement, deliveries, and compliance with quality specifications.
• Maintain progress, testing, commissioning, and other project records.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Eight to ten years of electrical engineering experience on infrastructure projects involving HV, MV, LV, and ELV systems.
• Strong testing and commissioning experience, including factory acceptance testing.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to perform a key technical role.
• Thorough knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures, industry practices, regulations, and current technology.
