- The Radar Digital Products Department is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong COTS computing and networking background to join our Hardware and Infrastructure team implementing the next generation RADAR solutions.
What You Will Do
- The Electrical Engineer who will work with Product Leads and other team members on a variety of tasks related to the design and development of systems using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) computing and networking products.
- Radar processing and network system design (e.g. X86-based processors)
- Research and selection of servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, networking and other COTS hardware
- BIOS and operating system configuration definition
- System prototyping and integration in the lab
- This position can be for the Tewksbury, MA location or the Marlborough, MA location.
- Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the following areas (an advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for two additional years of experience)
- Experience with emerging and legacy hardware and software, including Unix and Linux operating systems
- Experience with taking a system design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and developing a complete COTS-based hardware design and then verifying the design via integration and test plans and activities
