What You Will Do:
Support system-level requirements development by analyzing customer specifications and translating them into clear hardware and software needs.
Participate in system integration activities, including creating interface definitions and verifying system behavior against requirements.
Assist with verification and validation planning and execution, including test procedure development and data analysis.
Contribute to functional analyses, architectural exploration, and trade studies to evaluate design alternatives considering performance, cost, and risk.
Help maintain system configuration and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
What You Will Learn:
How avionics systems for business and regional aircraft are architected, integrated, and validated.
How systems engineering processes are applied in an industry environment, from early concept through certification and delivery.
How to use tools and methods for requirements management, verification planning, and model-based systems engineering.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable engineering discipline [Aerospace (preferred), Electrical, Computer, Mechanical] and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
Private Pilot License, or general passion for aviation.
