About the Role
Larsen & Toubro is seeking an Electrical Engineer for projects in Abu Dhabi. You will manage site activities, supervise teams, and ensure quality and safety in power plant or substation projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved plans and schedules
- Lead and motivate site engineers, technicians, and workers to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Efficiently utilize manpower, materials, and equipment
- Track milestones, prepare progress reports, and identify delays or bottlenecks
- Address technical and operational challenges promptly to avoid disruptions
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Minimum 3 years and maximum 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in civil engineering projects, power plants, or electrical substations
- Experience in Gulf countries and/or India highly desirable
- Hands on experience in construction, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Proven management and supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
- Additional technical certifications or specialized training relevant to construction, civil works, power plant operations, or substation projects will have an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in civil engineering projects, power plants, or electrical substations
- Experience in Gulf countries and/or India is highly desirable
Technical Skills And Project Experience
- Hands on experience in executing engineering projects, particularly in construction, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Well versed in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Practical knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Practical knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Practical knowledge of Risk Management
- Practical knowledge of Subcontractor Management
- Practical knowledge of Project Execution and Monitoring
- Experience in power plants and substations, including electrical installation, cable laying, transformer erection, switchgear installation, and testing
