Job Summary
Electrical Draughtsman role supporting electrical and MEP contracting and construction projects in the UAE.
The role produces electrical shop, coordination, layout, and as-built drawings and supports site drafting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical shop, layout, coordination, and as-built drawings for lighting, power, ELV, cable trays, cable routing, earthing, and distribution systems.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, panel schedules, load schedules, and schematic drawings.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other MEP services.
- Revise drawings using consultant comments, site conditions, IFC drawings, and engineering instructions.
- Resolve MEP clashes, maintain drawing registers and revisions, and support site teams with technical drafting.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE authority requirements, and applicable standards.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of total Electrical Draughtsman experience, including at least 5–6 years of UAE experience.
- Diploma, ITI, or degree in electrical engineering, electrical drafting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of electrical shop drawings and MEP coordination.
- Ability to interpret IFC drawings, specifications, BOQ, and engineering drawings.
- Experience with lighting, power, ELV, cable tray, earthing, and electrical distribution systems.
- Revit MEP, BIM, or Navisworks knowledge is advantageous.
- UAE availability and immediate joining are preferred.
Preferred Project Experience
- High-rise, commercial, residential, villa, infrastructure, MEP, and fit-out projects.
Compensation
- The structured salary is AED 8,000 per month.
- The description also lists pay of AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in the UAE.
