The role will be a site based operational role at Bengaluru R&D centre.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for all assigned EC&I assets.
Ensure electrical, control, and instrumentation systems are maintained to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
Support reliability improvement initiatives using structured engineering methodologies including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
Monitor asset performance, analyse trends, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, availability, and maintainability.
Support lifecycle management of electrical and control system assets.
Provide technical support and specialist EC&I support for maintenance activities, troubleshooting, shutdowns, plant modifications, and unplanned events.
Diagnose complex electrical and control system faults and implement effective corrective actions.
Support operational teams in resolving equipment issues impacting safety, quality, production, or facility performance.

Provide technical assurance for equipment procurement and vendor selection.
Ensure all engineering changes are managed through the Management of Change (MoC) process and fully documented.
Support commissioning, start-up, validation, and performance testing activities.
Support and feed into maintenance plans, inspection programmes, and statutory compliance activities for EC&I equipment.
Support planning and execution of facility shutdowns, outages, and major maintenance events.
Support compliance with electrical safety legislation, standards, and company requirements.
Contribute to the design, maintenance, and verification of safety-related control systems.
Participate in HAZOPs, LOPA studies, risk assessments, SIL assessments, and other process safety activities as required.
Participate in incident investigations, audits, inspections, behavioural safety initiatives, and corrective action programmes.
Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with company HSSE standards and expectations.
Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in: Electrical Engineering Control & Instrumentation Engineering Automation Engineering Electronic Engineering Or equivalent engineering discipline.

Confirmed experience within a research and development environment, utilities, laboratory, chemical, energy, or process environment.
