About the Role

Responsibilities
- Coordinate complete electrical system design from HV utility connection to LV distribution and end user systems
- Review and align electrical designs with local authority regulations, utility requirements, and international standards
- Liaise with utility providers, consultants, contractors, and equipment manufacturers for system integration
- Support design review for power distribution, control systems, automation interfaces, and safety systems
- Oversee installation activities for electrical infrastructure, including cabling, grounding, and panel integration
- Ensure proper interface between electrical systems and mechanical/automation equipment supplied by OEMs
- Support commissioning activities including testing, energization, and system validation
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during installation and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, protection systems, and operational reliability requirements
- Review technical documentation, schematics, single line diagrams, and control philosophies
- Coordinate site execution activities and resolve technical conflicts between stakeholders
- Support handover documentation, as built drawings, and system certification processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 8 years of experience in electrical and control systems within industrial, infrastructure, or engineering projects
- Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks
- Experience with control systems, PLC interfaces, and industrial automation integration
- Knowledge of UAE utility standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and system troubleshooting

Position Summary
- Seeking an experienced electrical & control engineer to manage and coordinate complete electrical and control systems across projects.
- The role covers the full electrical scope from high voltage utility connection and transformers through to low voltage distribution systems and final power consumers.
- Ensure seamless integration between utility requirements, international equipment suppliers, contractors, and site execution teams.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure, industrial plants, or large scale engineering projects.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and automation protocols.
- Knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.).
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
